1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to the LXD Career Accelerator website at lxdcareeraccelerator.com and all related services (the "Service"). The Service is operated by:

In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to ExceedXD LLC. "You" refers to the individual using the Service.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide directly
- Lead capture information. When you submit the "Stay in the loop" form, we collect your email address and the qualifying answer you select (e.g., "career switcher," "alumni").
- Account information. When you create a paid or free account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials.
- Payment information. When you purchase a Sprint Pass, Direct Monthly subscription, or Alumni Monthly subscription, payment is processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not see or store your full card number — only metadata the processor returns to confirm the transaction (last four digits, cardholder country, billing zip).
- Content you generate. When you use the platform's stations (Translation Lab, STAR Stories, Cover Letter Builder, Arsenal Builder, Mock Interview, etc.), you enter information about your career background. We store this content to provide the Service and improve your experience within your account.
- Communications. If you email support, reply to a marketing email, or otherwise communicate with us, we keep a record of that communication.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data. Basic analytics about which pages and stations you visit, how long you spend, and how you navigate the Service.
- Device and connection data. IP address, browser type, operating system, and approximate location (city/region level) derived from IP.
- Cookies. We use a minimal set of cookies necessary to operate the Service (authentication, session, basic preferences). We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Some service providers we use may set their own cookies — see Section 4.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Send transactional emails (account confirmations, payment receipts, password resets, refund notifications)
- Send marketing emails to subscribers who have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email)
- Respond to support requests and customer communications
- Improve the Service based on aggregated usage patterns
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security issues, and technical problems
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use AI to make automated decisions that have significant legal or similar effects about you.
4. Service providers we share information with

Each provider operates under their own privacy policy and contractual obligations to us. We do not authorize them to use your data for their own marketing purposes.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or others.
5. Data retention
- Lead capture data: retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion
- Account and content data: retained for the duration of your account, plus a reasonable period after account closure for backups and legal compliance (typically 90 days)
- Payment data: retained per our payment processor's policies and our tax/accounting obligations (typically 7 years for financial records)
- Support communications: retained for 2 years for service quality and dispute resolution
You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing support@lxdcareeraccelerator.com. We will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days of receiving your request, except for data we are required to retain by law.
6. Your rights and choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access. You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction. You can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion. You can request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal retention obligations.

7. Children's privacy

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted storage where applicable, role-based access controls, and regular security review. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If we become aware of a security breach that materially affects your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
9. International transfers
If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
